| Gerard Hansen

I'm Gerard Hansen, and I've been working as a Recruitment Consultant for NTA since 2016 and since April 2023 as the Executive Director of Alpine Immigration and Recruitment NZ. During this time, I've placed hundreds of graduates into employment, mainly in the dairy industry, but also in many other fields.

With over 20 years in the recruitment industry, both in the public and private sector, I'm well qualified to act as a consultant. I recently graduated as a Licensed Immigration Adviser from Toi-Ohomai with a Graduate Diploma in New Zealand Immigration Advice (Level 7).

I also hold a Business Management Diploma and various Recruitment Qualifications. I like to think of myself as experienced, personable, and supportive. I have a long history of working to achieve a positive outcome for all parties involved.

History.

I'm happy to tell you that NTA have been training students for careers in land based industries since January 2000, both domestic and international students. Director of NTA Craig Musson states the main goal of NTA is to ensure our graduates get placed in suitable work with good employers, and we have a dedicated recruitment manager working on this task.

Trading Principals.

At Alpine Immigration & Recruitment NZ, we take pride in offering a top-notch and personalized recruitment service. It's important to note that we solely act as a recruitment agent, which means that all employment agreements are made directly between employers and students. If work visas are required, we have licensed Immigration Advisers to help with the process.

Hey there! At Alpine Immigration & Recruitment NZ, we work closely with employers to make sure they get the staff they need. Whether you're an individual looking for a job or an employer looking to fill a vacancy, we're here to help!
We carefully match employers with our selection of graduates from NTA, taking into consideration their skills, knowledge, and personality to ensure a good fit. We strive to place graduates where they can continue to gain valuable experience and training, helping them further their careers.
If a graduate leaves within the first three months, no worries, we'll aim to replace them. We even carry out at least one farm visit with both employers and graduates to make sure things are going well.
Alpine Immigration & Recruitment NZ can work along you to help obtain any necessary Immigration New Zealand approvals and work visas. All students have a CV for perusal and interviews are even organised on the farm!
NTA students come equipped with a qualification from their own country or have completed an agriculture or land-based course with us. We also orientate all international students to NZ working conditions, culture, and health & safety. Plus, we even assist them in opening a bank account and obtaining an IRD Number.
